Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most asked questions.
Chiropractors are trained health professionals that treat conditions related to your body’s structure. They often work by using their hands to make adjustments to your spine. Our Chiro’s believe in the power of holistic treatment and may incorporate a range of manual therapies into your care. They may also provide advice on exercises or additional therapies that they believe would be beneficial to your treatment.

What do most people visit the chiro for?
Chiropractic care may be helpful to you if you are experiencing muscle or joint pain, particularly if it is getting in the way of your everyday or favourite activities. It can also be helpful for long-term care and may prevent you from experiencing the same muscle or joint pain you would otherwise.
How can chiro help me?
Chiropractic care is safe when it is performed by someone who is trained and licensed. All of our Chiropractor's have received their university degree in chiropractic care and regularly undergo professional development training to ensure their skills are top notch.
Is chiropractic care safe?
You are never too old/young for chiropractic care! Each member of our team is trained to treat each patient based on their specific needs meaning you never have to worry about not being able to access the correct care for you. We even provide chiropractic care to babies (don’t worry this is very different to the treatment offered to adults).
Am I too old/young for chiropractic care?
Generally, it is rare to experience pain after an adjustment with many patients finding it very relaxing. While you may sometimes hear a noise from the joints, this sound is simply caused by a change in pressure in your joint and is not anything to be afraid of.
Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?
Absolutely! We are a Preferred Member Care Provider with MBP and Bupa and accept all private health fund providers in Australia.
Am I covered by my private health?
The frequency of your visits will depend on the advice provided by your chiro. Typically, most patients will begin with frequently scheduled appointments before slowly requiring less and less care and eventually moving their appointments to a monthly basis. Once you and your chiro have reached the point of monthly visits, we offer a discounted wellness plan.
